The Public Meeting Room is available for educational, informational or cultural meetings during library business hours (Monday-Thursday 9a-7p, Friday 9a-5p, Saturday 9a-3p, Closed Sundays). Meetings must be scheduled at least 5 days in advance but cannot be scheduled more than 8 weeks in advance.

Public Meeting Room Policy

The Decorah Public Library has meeting room spaces that support library programs and functions that further the goals of the library. When not in use by library or library affiliates, the rooms are available for use by the public. In accordance with the ALA Library Bill of Rights (paragraph six) and its interpretation pertaining to meeting rooms, the library makes meeting facilities available on an equitable basis. Use of the public meeting rooms does not imply endorsement, support, or sponsorship by Decorah Public Library of the activities that take place or the beliefs of the group using the area.
