Navigating Iowa’s Behavioral Health Services

Helping Services and Decorah Public Library present program on Iowa Behavioral Health Services

On Tuesday, June 9, Leah Hemesath from Helping Services will be presenting on how to navigate Iowa’s Behavioral Health services. The presentation is at 5:30 in the library’s mezzanine.

Over the past year, there have been changes to Iowa’s statewide behavioral health prevention services, along with a new service called System Navigation. But all that change can still be confusing. Join Leah Hemesath, Certified Presentation Specialist from Helping Services to learn how to access and understand all the different services available to you. From substance use, gambling, mental illness, or food insecurity, system navigators can connect Iowans to service providers who can help address their needs.
