Several types of mentoring opportunities are available to help youth who would benefit from spending time with an adult mentor. The youth are ages 5-16 and have been pre-selected as someone who would benefit from this opportunity.
1. Traditional Mentor*: Volunteer will be matched with a child who has similar interests and will meet with their mentee at least 4 hours a month to be a role model teaching and having fun. Mentors schedule time with their mentee by working with the family.
2. School-based Mentor: Volunteer will be matched with a child who has similar interests and will meet with their mentee once per week at the school during the school day.
3. Mentor for a Day: Attend group mentoring activities and be paired for the day with a child in need of a mentor. A good way to see if this is something you would enjoy!
