Naturebrary at Twin Springs Park: Macro invertebrates
Come explore the outdoors with Decorah Public Library! Naturebrary is an active outdoor program that gives families a chance to connect with the outdoors in a facilitated way. Does your family like exploring rivers and creeks, looking under rocks, or finding critters? For our second Naturebrary we’ll be looking for macro invertebrates! We’ll read a story, then learn how to look for macro invertebrates in the river. Younger scientists can explore and look for critters. Older kids can use keys to identify what they find and learn what macro invertebrates can tell us about our streams. In the event of inclement weather we will reschedule this event. This event is open to children of all ages with an adult caregiver.
Registration required. Please use form below to register.
