Holiday Candle Centerpiece Workshop

Decorah Public Library is thrilled to announce a creative partnership with Jen Opheim, the talented owner, grower, and floral designer at Bloom Flower Farm. Together, they will be hosting a Candle Centerpiece workshop on December 14 at 7:00 PM at Convergence CiderWorks.

This unique workshop will immerse participants in the art of crafting a beautiful winter centerpiece using candles, live edge wood, and plant materials. Jen Opheim, known for her passion for art, photography, and design, draws inspiration from nature to create stunning floral arrangements. During the workshop, she will not only guide attendees in creating a simple yet elegant garland but will also share examples of how to personalize and enhance the garland with their own accent pieces at home.

Decorah Public Library invites individuals of all skill levels to join in this hands-on experience. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or a beginner looking to explore your creative side, this workshop promises to be both educational and fun.

Space for this workshop is limited, and pre-registration is required. Interested participants can register in advance at to secure their spot. This workshop is free to attend, but participants are encouraged to make a $20 free will donation to cover the cost of supplies.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to continue your holiday season with a touch of DIY creativity. Join us for an evening of crafting, camaraderie, and creativity at Convergence CiderWorks on December 14th at 7:00 PM.
