Earth Day Sensory Walk at the Butterfly Garden

4/22
at the Decorah Prairie Butterfly Garden

Celebrate Earth Day with Decorah Public Library and Decorah Parks!  Children and caregivers are invited to go on a guided sensory walk through the butterfly garden facilitated by cards created by DPL staff.  Milkweed seeds and pots will also be available to plant and take home.

Registration required. Please use the form below to register for one of the following time slots: 2:45-3:15, 3:15-3:45, 3:45-4:15

What to expect:
This activity provides the opportunity for families to slow down and use their senses by participating in a curated walk through the butterfly garden.  Walking groups will be spaced out in order to allow participants to hear, see, feel, and touch all the things the garden has to offer.  A planting activity will be available to participants to do before or after their walk.
