Community Gratitude Project: Leaves of Thanks
Join us in cultivating a garden of gratitude!
From November 16-23, Decorah Public Library invites you to be a part of our Community Gratitude Project. Our tree of thanks is waiting to blossom with the spirit of appreciation, and we want you to add your own unique leaf.
Here’s how you can contribute:
🌳 Visit the Library: Stop by the library anytime during the week before Thanksgiving.
✋ Create Your Leaf: Trace the outline of your hand on colorful paper, cut it out, and voila! You’ve got a leaf ready to carry your gratitude.
🖊️ Share Your Thanks: On your leaf, jot down something you’re grateful for. It could be a big moment, a small joy, or a person who brightens your days.
🍃 Grow Our Tree: Place your leaf in the basket to be hung on the tree by our librarians.
Check back throughout the week to watch as it transforms into a vibrant display of shared appreciation! Let’s celebrate the season of thanks together! Come be a part of this beautiful tapestry of thanks at Decorah Public Library. We can’t wait to see what makes your heart grateful! 🍁✨
