Bike Safety/Fish Hatchery Field Trip

Looking for Friday morning fun? Explore Decorah with Decorah Public Library and the Biking School Bus! This week we’ll be meeting at Bowstring Bridge where April Bril from Upper Explorerland’s Safe Routes to School will be offering bike safety education. After a short bike safety lesson participants will bike together to the Decorah Fish Hatchery to feed the fish. Youth of all ages are invited but kids younger than 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult and participants must be able to bike 3.5 miles (roundtrip). Please bring your own bike, helmet, water bottle and tennis shoes. Fish feed as well as helmets for those who need one will be provided. This field trip will begin and end at the Bowstring Bridge.
